How did your throat cancer start

How did your throat cancer start

how did your throat cancer start

Question: how did your throat cancer start?

Answer: because I had oral sex…

Surprised?

I was since reading the throat cancer symptoms smoking sounded like the most logical start of throat cancer.

But when you look at it logically: anything you put in your mouth can cause trouble.

Tracing throat cancer:

  • an estimated 40 million Americans are infected with Human papillomavirus (HPV)
  • HPV is one of the most common sexual transmitted diseases (STDs)
  • HPV causes cervical cancer and is also linked to throat cancer

Where did your throat cancer start

When it comes to threating cancer, an important question to answer is ‘where did your throat cancer start’?

Throat cancer is ‘non medical’ term used to name a cancer around the nose, mouth and thoat-area. Cancers are treated according to where they started: the treatment for mouth cancer will be different than the treatment for cancer of the voice box.

It is important to know the exact name of the throat cancer to find:

  • the right information
  • the right treatment.

If you are not sure of the name of your cancer, ask your doctor or nurse to write it down for you.

Some throat cancers spread to lymph nodes (lymph glands) in the neck. This sometimes is the first sign of an already secondary cancer! People also call this a throat cancer but since it is a secondary cancer, it will be very differently treated than a "simple larynx" cancer.

Squamos cells and cancer

About 95 percent of thorat cancers start from ’squamous’ cells: thin, flat cells that line the larynx (voice-box) and hypopharynx (also known as laryngopharynx).

These squamous cells don’t become cancers suddenly. It starts when the cells begin to change. Smoking and heavy alcohol drinking usually cause the changes. The cells then become pre-cancerous.

Most of these pre-cancers will not become cancers when their cause (like smoking) stops. The good news is that these pre-cancers usually even go away.

Once the cancer is formed, it is called a "carcinoma": a cancer that hasn’t spread to other parts of the body.

Most very early can be cured by stripping or cutting away the lining of layers of cells.

Some are destroyed by a laser beam.

However, if the cancers are are not treated, they can spread.

Summarized

When it comes to cancer treatment, it is very imprtant to know where the throat cancer started.

When it comes to cancer pervention: please share with us how did your thoat cancer start.

Please ask any question that’s on your mind about cancer and we will answer you or find another cancer story that relates to your question.

Make sure you ask your doctor any question that comes through your mind and when they answer like what they did with us: "stop reading the Internet about cancer"… make sure you devote your time wisely with your loved one. Once he sleeps because the cancer does take away their energy, make sure you sleep enough yourself or use that time to surf the Internet.

Save some time buying the recommended cancer books, especially the Guaranteed Method For Beating Cancer, as it comes with a money back guarantee… You will find too many people trying to promise you cancer treatments you never heard of: make sure you only step into those that offer a money guarantee! (not many will do, cancer is not the easiest disease to cure…)
